ths incident was experienced by ma maternal aunt. she was married in the year 2000 in kolkata where we belong to. but fr her husband's transfer she had to go along with her husband to Mumbai...
the incident revolves around the flat given by ma uncle's company.

the frst day when they landed, they reached the house and waited for there furnitures to reach. they were very few as the house had its own bed, the things in the kitchen, two shelves, and a big cupboard. except from these, there were a few wierd things in the flat like one empty "mandir" block. one big pendulum wall-clock(which did not work).the flatt also had pictures of hindu gods and goddesses stuck almost everywhere in the flat, what struck in one's mind was these were stuck even on the tube-lights and kitchen.one golden om was painted on the door from whre the entrance was and the wierdest thing was it's verandah. being the ground floor, the varandah had a dense ganden when u look out from it....!!!
the first few days were fine.all that made the heart beat fast was that old clock which neva worked but sometimes dong-ed so in a loud voice that made ma aunt really freaked for a few moments.
they all needed to settle down. now when they opened the box of the bed (the space generally on box-cots that are used to keep things) my aunt felt as if an unnatural air was captured inside it and got free'ed when she opened it.
she ignored.and things went on
but that was the start of it
after a few days, my aunt was alone one day when uncle left for his night duty. at night suddenly she woke up and when she opened her eyes she as if someone ran across the drawing space outside. she ran after that smoky figure but found nothing.
she again avoided but the free-ness of the atmosphere was tightening day by day... most of the times during when she used to be alone at home. she used to feel the presence of someone here or there with her in the house.
after a week to ths, one day when my aunt was having a nap in the afternoon while uncle was out, she felt as if some one caught her from the back and she was suffocated, it was not letting her get up.not to turn around and see who it was.
finally after about 15 mints she could losen herself,she was freaked.she called up ma uncle , he came running from the office and everything became normal.the air,the weird smell and everything was normal.
she spent some time with her husband and it was okay for her. she accepted that it was just her captivated mind which took her over during her dream.
but from just 24hrs later to this ma aunt could always feel, indeed sense a very tall figure sometimes beside her, sometimes behind her and sometimes in the varandah.
she knew something was wrong as she always used to see dreams like a girl is playong a huge piano at her terrace and she suddenly walks back and falls looking at ma aunt. even sometimes she dreamt of a huge graveyard and out of one grave that girl comes out. all this freaked her like hell.but she never said anything much seriously to uncle as she knew he wud be carried away and that cud harm his work.
unless one day a scorpion stung her in the washroom. she was in pain but one thing came into her mind that there are no scorpions found in western india. after a while when her pain was a little less, she thought of going out and complaining the security about it. but as soon as she opened the door she found a paper bag, full of hair, some red colour stuff (probably wat we indians call 'sindoor') and some more things like some flowers. she was shocked like anything.she picked up her face from it and say the back of a lady,open hair torn dress, as if a mad lady who was walking way straight a bitt away from her door. she was frightened lyk anything.she locked back the door and called-up uncle in the office and told about everything she felt all throughout and that she was stung. he said he is leaving and will be there in 15 mints. she sat calmly ultill uncle came back. when he enquired, the security said no one came inside, he knows as he was on-duty the entire day.
After ths incident even ma uncle undrtud the whole thing and left the place. now they stay in a nearby appartment called vineeta. and ths flatt is damn free and she could neva feel anything in this one.
Later when they went to clear their payments to the owner of the old flat. they asked her if something has ever happened there. but she neva wanted to reveal anything.
